Crawler Crane ACX 400 with 40 ton of lifting capacity is equipped with 10 m to 40 m long boom  with alloy steel made rigid structure, 6.1 m to 15.25 m long jib and auxiliary hoist with 62 mtrs maximum lifting speed per minute. This crane uses sturdily built diesel engine with water cooled mechanism. This engine consists of air cleaner, 240 ltrs fuel tank and radiator. High strength metal plate made structure of this crane is fully welded. The upper part of this lifting system consists of auxiliary hoist, central hoist and boom hoist. The hydraulic and engine sections of this crane are located in its side platform. The whole body of this crane is installed on slew bearing for its trouble free controlling and maintenance purpose. As part of its safety features, this crane has hoist safety brake, indicator for boom angle, counter balance valve, audio based slew alarm, automatic swing lock system, automatic hoist drum locking function and over load protection system.

Design Details:

The enclosed operator cabin of Crawler Crane ACX 400 is furnished with instrument cluster, seat with flexible parameters, control lever, fan, work lights, wiper and rear view mirror. Featured with necessary air circulation arrangement, this cabin is also offered with optional air conditioner. The hydraulic section of this crane consists of lever driven control valve for slewing function, hydraulic fan equipped oil cooler and 300 ltrs hydraulic tank. Its hoisting section contains hydraulic motor controlled boom and auxiliary or central hoist managed by motor operated reducer. Hydraulic motor controlled pinion gear and planetary reducer of this crane enable it to achieve 360 degree turning radius. Its internal gear type slew ring promotes its smooth slewing irrespective of direction. Powered by 180 AH-12V battery, the electrical section of this crane is designed with starter, limit switch, cab and working lights, wiper, fan and digital load display screen. The under carriage section is equipped with control level regulated track frame with hydraulic extension feature, welded H frame, planetary gear box with hydraulic mechanism and hydraulic brakes for achieving up to 1.6 km travelling speed per hour without any interruption. This material lifting device uses three hook blocks having 5 tons, 15 tons and 40 tons of load lifting capacity .
